One of the outstanding artists who is willing to perform for us is Grammy award-winning Ashley Cleveland. Ashley is an incredible performer of hymns, rock tunes, and ballads. I had her at my church nearly a decade ago and still remember reaction to her!
However, to make it work, Ashley needs a gig in Asheville, Winston-Salem, or Greensboro to make it economically feasible. I have some ideas, but do any of you have any contacts for churches or other venues in these cities which may be appropriate for her? If so, email me or simply comment to this post. It'd be quite a feat to bring her our way, and I'd love to do it. Thanks!
You probably know about Redeemer PCA in Winston-Salem. They may be interested.
Also, my friends Jeff and Troy Hutchinson recently hosted a house concert. They live in Asheville and might be interested as well.
