One of our regulars, Jon, provided this front row shot of Audrey Assad. Thanks Jon. A friend with him for a first house concert had this to say about the evening: "So last night I went with some friends to see a concert in a home... the young lady singing, Audrey Assad, was wonderful! Have you ever heard a hymn your whole life and then you hear it and it is like you are really hearing the words for the 1st time? That happened to me last night - It was wonderful!" That's what I like to hear! How about you? Do you have a comment about our evening or concerts in general? Let me hear from you. I'd like to post a few as feedback for those who may be checking out the site and wondering about coming.
You'll also note that I've placed a Tip Jar on the blog. My goal with all the house concerts we host is to break even and not lose money while at the same time providing a nice income for the artist, but that is sometimes a challenge as I need to offer enough guaranteed income to the artist to make it worth their while to come as well as cover the expenses (like sound, lights, chair rental, and food) that make it a more special evening. You can help. Click on the Tip Jar and give a small amount to help smooth out the bumps and "endow" the effort. Not required, but nice! (Read more about "costs" here.)
