The first time I heard Greg and Rebecca Sparks in concert I was in a club in Nashville. I was amazed. It was a rock act and Rebecca was all over the stage, Greg banging away at an acoustic guitar, and if I recall correctly, the awesome Kenny Greenburg (husband of Ashley Cleveland and writer of Amy Grant's #1 hit "Every Heartbeat") was on electric guitar --- and the atmosphere was electric.
I promise an electrifying atmosphere at this house concert --- just acoustic. The loudest instrument in the room will be Rebecca's voice, and you will not mind that at all. The recorded music doesn't do justice to what happens when these two are together. It soars.
Plus --- this is night not only with good music and fellowship with old and new friends, but also an opportunity to hear about the work of a local ministry, Embrace Uganda. We'll take just five minutes (I promise, only five) and tell you about the work they do in providing education, health care, and community development in three villages in the central African country of Uganda. You'll have opportunity to give, or not. You can also support by buying handmade Ugandan crafts. It'll be an awesome evening!
The concert is on Friday, April 13th, at 8:00. But you need to reserve your seats. Do that by visiting our web page here and clicking on the links therein. Once you reserve on Pay Pal, you'll be given information on the North Raleigh location and a few other details.
We hope to see you on the 13th!
