I hope all of you had a great Christmas and are off to a great start for the New Year! It's time to press "reset" on concerts as well as a lot of things, and I'm looking forward to what's ahead. I've heard a lot of friends complain recently about what a dearth of good music there was last year and lament that not much good is on the horizon either. I've done the same! At the same time, there are some artists out there who just continue to plug away, tilling the ground where there find themselves, making good music. It may not be on the airwaves. You may not hear or read about them. But they are there being faithful to the calling they have.
Jill Paquette is one of those artists and you have the treat of hearing her soon. As you recall, we had to reschedule our December date with Jill because of sickness, but she's healthy and looking forward to being with us on Friday, January 22nd at 8:00. Honestly, for many of these concerts I am as surprised as you at what I hear. Sure, I've heard the music, but two-thirds of these folks I've never heard live, including Jill! I'm ready to forgive anyone for not living up to my expectations but honestly all have exceeded my expectations, and I expect that trend will continue!
